"...saving water need not cost the earth"

Draincore2 underground water storage system.

Sub-surface drainage technology has developed significantly in recent years. However a major existing problem is the distortion of filter fabric post installation which results in migration of backfill material into the drainage void. This significantly reduces the effectiveness of the system and is extremely costly to rectify.

Draincore2 provides a cost effective solution to this problem by the unique method of bonding geotextile filter fabrics to the Draincore2 elements during the injection molding process. This heat bonding makes Draincore2 extremely durable and ensures the filter fabric integrity many years after installation.

Draincore2 is lightweight, with a very high tolerance to compressive load.

Draincore2 allows for high infiltration and flow volume capacity for both vertical and horizontal applications.

How it works

Draincore2 will achieve large area subsurface drainage efficiently by gravity movement of water to a collection point. The 2.5 cm depth of ring moves large volumes of water quickly and easily over an impervious membrane.

Draincore2 is a high volume drainage layer capable of withstanding heavy loads in direct contact. This drainage core is wrapped in a geotextile fabric which allows water to enter from any direction, with the rings placed vertically or horizontally. Water can flow between rings in both vertical and lateral directions simultaneously. Flow volumes can be matched with multiple layer configurations.
